The current state, in short

The Shabba website does not use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not use optional cookies for tracking, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

The Shabba Club signup form loads Google reCAPTCHA as an essential anti-abuse measure to protect against automated spam. To do this, reCAPTCHA may set or read technical cookies and use local or browser storage as part of how the service works. It is not used by Shabba for advertising or cross-site marketing analytics. Other essential technical capabilities may be used for core functions of the site, such as keeping the service available and secure. These are not used to track you across other websites.

Browser storage this site uses

The only browser storage item this website adds is a single entry in your browser's local storage called shabba-essential-notice-seen. This entry simply remembers that you have acknowledged our essential-technology notice. It contains no personal information.

Clearing this item will cause the notice to be shown to you again next time you visit.

Future optional cookies

We will not use optional cookies in future before making an opt-in mechanism available. If we ever introduce optional cookies, you will be able to choose whether to accept them before they are set.

Managing storage in your browser

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so only removes data stored in your own browser; it does not delete any Shabba Club membership record we hold. To request changes to personal data we hold, email privacy@shabba.co.uk.
